Five Boland families that may be related are listed here. Some of them moved from South Carolina, then to Georgia and Alabama about the same time as some of John Boland's descendants. Some also moved on to Mississippi. It seems likely they are closely related to John Boland (1755). Their parents are unkown, and it is possible some of the primary persons are brothers.
